I am so excited to announce that I will be painting a 35' by 85' mural in Faribault, MN. I saw the RFP in October and finally submitted my proposal in mid-December. I did a good 4-5 designs before landing on this one. Art is a visual medium so for most seeing it is pretty important. Recently though, I have thought about what ways someone can experience art without physically seeing it. This idea led to my design which I will breakdown the ideation below:

This month I interned at the Franconia Sculpture Park. I assisted the visiting artist Andrew Erdos in creating his aluminum sculpture as well as helped to install and destall shows in the Mardag Gallery inside the newly constructed building! I've had such a great time and have learned so much!
My work has been selected for the Arts North International Exhibition at the Hopkins Center for the Arts. My painting This is Us took 3rd place in the oil painting category. I am extremely grateful to be among such talented artists in this show!
This exhibition will run from January 9th to February 13th. You can see it in person at the Hopkins Center for the Arts in Hopkins, Minnesota or you can click the link below to see it virtually!! https://www.hopkinsartscenter.com/223/Exhibitions |
